Autism Ontario's Realize Community Potential Program is a new project designed to directly support parents of children with ASD through greater access to ASD information, direct contact between parents and Autism Ontario chapters, improved access to ASD Experts in local communities, and to provide a mechanism for supported community-based learning opportunities for children with ASD.

Open Letter to Families

January 10, 2007

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce everyone to the Realize Community Potential (RCP) Program. The aim of this program is to provide enhanced opportunities, resources and support to families. There are six chapters currently involved in this program they are; Durham Region, Niagara Region, London, Ottawa, Thunder Bay, Windsor Essex and York Region.

We would like to hear from you pertaining to any matter you may have in accessing resources or needing support in planning for services. In order to provide such support there are RCP Coordinators hired in each chapter.

For your easy reference here is the list of me and my staff. Please contact them so we may be of some assistance to you and your family. We welcome all enquiries.
